These Terms of Service apply to the mobile application “Biohack”, operated by:

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

The Biohack app is intended for users of all age groups, however, if you are under 13 years of age, you may only use this app with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement under applicable law.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Biohack app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

4. Subscription and Payments

Currently, the Biohack app is free of charge during the testing phase.

We may introduce a paid subscription model in the future. In that case, users will be informed in advance and given the option to agree before any charges are applied.

5. Registration and Account

Users can try up to 5 scans without registration. After that, creating an account is required.

We reserve the right to change these access limitations at any time. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

6. No Medical Advice

The information and analyses provided by Biohack are for informational purposes only.

They do not constitute medical, dietary, or professional health advice.

Our evaluations are generated through artificial intelligence and third-party data (e.g., OpenFoodFacts, OpenAI). Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical or nutritional decisions.

We assume no liability for damages resulting from the use or reliance on the app’s output.

7. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal or harmful purposes
Reverse engineer, decompile, or manipulate the app’s code or API
Upload malicious content or violate any applicable laws
Reuse or distribute the app’s output for commercial purposes without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

8. Data Handling

We currently do not store any personal health-related or scan data.

Only the data required for login and authentication (email & password) is stored securely.

9. User-Generated Content

Currently, the app does not support uploading user content (e.g., notes, reviews). This may change in future updates.

10. Third-Party Services

The app uses external APIs such as OpenAI and OpenFoodFacts. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of their data.

11. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the app and on the website. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated terms.
